Cocoa Powder Processing Flow:
Cocoa beans - stone removal - metal separation - roasting - cooling - peeling (cocoa nibs) - picking - grinding (cocoa liquor) -- oil extraction (cocoa butter) -- crushing -- powder grinding (cocoa powder)
The Main Equipment in this Cocoa Powder Processing Line:
1. Cocoa Beans Roasting Machine
Cocoa beans roasting is the most important part of cocoa powder processing. Roasting the cocoa bean allows it to release its rich chocolate flavour, giving the cocoa bean a unique aroma and attractive colour.
The cocoa roaster machine is suitable for batch continuous production. The cocoa beans are laid flat on the mesh belt and are driven by the motor drive chain; the hot air generated in the oven penetrates the material upward from the lower part of the mesh belt to achieve high-quality roasting. The temperature controller can realize automatic temperature control.
2. Cocoa Bean Crushing and Peeling Machine
After roasting, the outer skin of the cocoa beans becomes more crisp, and can be easily separated as the cocoa beans are broken by crushing.
This cocoa bean peeler machine is equipped with a vacuum cleaner and a vibrating screen. The vacuum cleaner can suck off the cocoa skin, and the vibrating screen can effectively shake and separate the sticky skin and cocoa nibs.
3. Cocoa Nibs Grinding Machine
From cocoa nibs to cocoa liquor, multiple stages of grinding are required. Cocoa liquor consists of a liquid mixture of cocoa oil and cocoa butter.
Cocoa liquor grinding machine can control the particle size of the finished product by adjusting the gap between the grinding bodies. The particles can be ground to 150um, and the fine grinding can shorten the refining time and obtain a larger proportion of micro-materials.
4. Cocoa Butter Pressing Machine
Cocoa butter press applies high pressure to compress the cocoa liquor mixture, separating the cocoa liquor into cocoa butter and cocoa cake. Hydraulic cocoa butter press uses small power to generate powerful hydraulic pressure for pressing, and it uses the principle of hydraulic transmission. Through hydraulic oil pressing, the cocoa paste can be heated without heating, which can more effectively retain the content of unsaturated fatty acids in the cocoa beans, avoid high-temperature damage to the biological properties of protein molecules, and effectively make a more mellow cocoa paste.
5. Cocoa Cake Crushing Machine
The cocoa cake is put into the machine, and it becomes cocoa powder through high-speed impact and shearing of the grinding knife, as well as high-frequency vibration.
6. Cocoa Powder Grinding Machine
The coarsely crushed cocoa cake has a large particle size, so further crushing is required. This cocoa powder grinder can finely grind the material, and the design speed of the pendulum can reach 3800r/min, and finally form cocoa powder with uniform particles through the screen. The fineness of the cocoa powder produced by this equipment can reach 100 meshes.
